Anyone a member of the lucky sect that has seen the film? I heard the theaters in the Boston area were sold out with lines like a Sox/Yankees game.

It is FINALLY coming to my state this Friday! I haven't been this excited about a movie in a long time!! Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait to see it because I'll be up in Austin with the Matador and it is only opening in Houston  plus he'll kill me if I see it without him.

Anyone else a fan?

And Peter Fonda? Easy Rider in Boondock Saints? hmmm...

I've heard William Dafoe's awesome character was replaced by the gratuitous hot chick. REALLY? this upsets me greatly. The lack of ubiquitous hot chick is part of what made the first film so beautiful. And how could they ever replace the awesomeness of Agent Smecker?
Even worse, by just the looks of this chick she's annoying and worthless. Hopefully she will die in the film  Okay, enough for now before my panties get all in a twist.

The original was a master piece.  








I'm excited but find myself a little nervous, I can't imagine the sequal living up to the first one.





One of my all time fav movies.... weird that with a well put together movie I never even noticed a lack of any hottsy eye candy. Funny I guess the best ones don't need the crutch.



The Crow had no eye candy either... also a top 10 all time fav... and shitty sequals.

Nothing, when the movie is right. Like Transformers or GI Joe, but in a movie that is supposed to be intelligent, or any realm where intellect is a critical component actually, hot chicks usually just screw it up...unless that gratuitous hot chick is me of course

did you see the one they brought to theaters for one night only? they had the original cut with a whole lot more blood and a lot more of pissed off rocco....it was awesome!

i worry that there is some irrelevant sub plot (love interest, etc...) that is going to ruin it though

I'm very interested to see how this one turns out.

Troy Duffy got himself completely blacklisted from Hollywood for being an arrogant, egotistical douchebag after the first one.

He succeeded in pissing enough people off that it never hit the theaters and went straight to video.

Dumbass didn't have any video royalties in his contract. Karma I guess.  


That being said, the original is still one of my favorite movies of all time.
