had a visit from a bloke today who just pulled a 650 gagiva out of a farmers barn in bloody good nick for a 85 model got belts coming and tyres and carby kit just want too know which shim size they are cheers bazz

IIRC, on the one 650 motor I reshimmed, both the openers and closers were quite thick, certainly not in the middle of the normal range of shims for more recent Duc motors.

650 allazurra? regular 650 pantah engine so the 8mm shims would be the go.

i like em, they're a little different and the styling is nicer than the pantah. the tank is notorious for rust so give it a good look over too.
