Does anyone know if these heat shields will fit on the original 2009 696/1100 cans?

they look to be the same two mounting points.

thats what i thought... but then check out the images here on the new ducati site... looks like there may be a 3rd mounting point on the inside past the bracket

Definitely looks like a 3rd point on the inside. Those are much better than the 2009 shields, imho. Might be worth looking in to.

those things are HUGE
only need em if your running stock exhaust and your passenger is wearing shorts.

no thanks.

but yes you are right there's a third bolt inside rear. would be easy enough to find a 2010 person who's getting aftermarket to swap your 2009 exhausts or pick up cheap on ebay.

to each their own though  vomit
