The rumor from the factory was 40 more hp an 50 less pounds.

I think the hp was understated and the weight overstated,but that doesn't really matter anymore, does it.

I think Eric Buell will be back.  H-D is selling the 1125's for nearly half price, trying to get the bikes out of their dealerships.  I think once the H-D/Buell dealers are once again all Harley, they will sell the Buell Name and Factory to make some $$$, afterall Buell bikes don't really compete with Harley Bikes.  I hope this is true.  I couldn't pass up the half price Buell...150hp and 400lbs, all for under $7K.  The Radiators don't look too bad from the saddle!!!


and this is supposedly the Buell that was in the works...

Look, its a 1098 with a bad tail and a poor bellypan/bodywork seam!

not too bad overall. only thing that screems buell from past designs is the perimeter brakes and the jacket the rider has.

I must have missed something big, whats going on with Buell? As in why are they throwing bikes away and someone mentioned Harley shops are getting rid of them, what happened? I havent read anything in any of the 3 mags I get.
