To add to Melvin's posts here is a pictorial...
http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk92/syd-monster_photo/
Some notes to consider
a) the back of the monster isn't square so double/triple check you measurements before cutting.
b) I used a hi-quality cutting blade on my angle grinder
c) Trial fits & templates end up with good results...
** I tried using the IMG codes to link the photos but I cant for some reason the DMF doesn't seem to repond well to the sizing or the amount... my internetin sucks abit too much. - Chris

finished the whole thing by installing the plug. $1.55/packet of 4 @ bunnings
save yourself 3 trips and go for a 22mm size. the smaller is 19mm and is too small. the 22mm is too large but i've filed it a bit and it fits perfectly
tail chop completed
ps
today was raining like mad, got totally drenched but that didn't stop me noticing the large amount of water going over my back up to half of my seat...........because of the shorter frame and lack of "beer tray"
phew. who cares? i don't
