The whole dark thing is way overdone.

It's much harder to come up with the right color.

Agreed.  I think most of the matte black's are wrap jobs, so when it's not cool next year you can peel it off.

I watched the Street Customs on HDT where they built the other 2-door S-class.  Unbelievable fabrication.  Looks factory.
