Throttle lock?

Anybody using a throttle lock on their bike?  I'm seriously suffering on the freeway by not being able to take my hands off the throttle (I have muscle/nerve issues not directly related to the bike).  Looking at any options out there...I like that bar-end device, but would prefer something I can flick on or off with my thumb.

Thanks!

B and I have Throttlemeisters on out STs.

They are really nice.  The fricton point is adjustable depending on how hard of a "lock" you want.  B has his really hard, ride without hand on the throtle at all.  I prefer mine softer, need to rest hand on, but don't need to grip real hard.  (now, pull your mind back out of the gutter.  ;) )

They are much heavier than the stock bar ends so they dampen vibrations well.

Hope that helps.   [moto]

Those look pretty cool. Right now I just use the wrist paddle things so you can rest your palm/wrist on it and move your hand.

I used to have what was either a Vista-Cruise or something similar (all resin) on my GPZ750.  Anyone use one of these on a Monster?

I have a Vista Cruise on a 04 M1000.  Works well.

I have the paddle thing too. I like it alot, though it does take a bit of getting used to.

Wasn't there a "Caterpillar" throttle lock that came from a yellow O-ring?  When you wanted to "lock" the throttle you just rolled it into the small gap between the bar end and the throttle grip.  To "unlock" it you just rolled it back onto the bar end.  I recall that someone turned small groove in the bar end to hold the o-ring.

Anyone?  Seems pretty simple and should work well for next to nothing.  I remember 3-21 as some kind of sizing value but can't find the thread.

I have seen people do this on the R6 as well with good luck, but I don't remember the size or if it would be the same for the monster bar end.
Every bike I've ever owned.

What would be the best suggestion for one of these things if I have CRG lanesplitters? Will the throttle meister still work?
