Hi all,

Have been thinking about getting myself a pair of leather riding pants and have tried a few brands but keep coming back to Dainese v AlpineStar and even RST ( i think that is them).

At this stage I think it Alpines, Dainese and then RST.  So has anyone got a pair of the AlpineStar Track Leather pant that has an product quality, fit etc. opinion or a review?  How do you like them, for comfot do they give a little etc.  I tried on a 52 and it they are snug in the waist but very good length and calf etc. but the 54 was a tad too big and I think longer.  The shop dude said the leaeher will give so snug is ok.. tight..well maybe not.

So any comments... about the pants..

What's your jacket? I would want to make sure that they are able to zip together, or at the very lease be modified to do so...

No but I have been checking out their gear - It is really good and the price is excellent! Whats more I will be in Italy at Christmas and hey, I my even be able to visit the shop/Factory and get a suit made when I am there!

Basically they take your measurements in Australia and then the suit is made up to your specs in Italy and flown back here.

Great suits and you get a made-to-measure for the same price of a Std Alpinestars or Dainese.....

PS - I am not on commission here and have only met the guy who runs this business once - Rory Panetta is his name.

Bret, I have had the Alpinestars "Bat" pants - don't laugh, OK? - for about five years now, and have found them to be excellent. They are more of a touring pant, and don't have knee sliders, but other than that they much the same as the other Alpinestars products. The leather did give a bit, which is good because I have only got fatter with age - a point to think about. Undecided..it may be best to go a bit bigger, if you plan on wearing them long term? Grin

My 2c worth. Ducsport.
