28mm front axle nut .... socket?

Couldn't find a 28mm socket ("local" autozone) for the front axle nut for my Monster.

(found 29mm - not close enough)

is 28mm what everyone else uses or is there a SAE equivalent (1 1/8" is closer than 29mm)

Always dangerous walking into tool sections of larger stores.

I flagged a Snap-on truck once and the dealer did not have a 28mm.  Bought an SAE equivalent 1/2" drive socket and it has worked fine for me.

I managed to find a 28mm duralast socket at Autozone.. Bummer you couldn't.

i used an adjustable spanner,

you can order a 28mm from nothern tools.com if you cant find it. cheap there.
