I just heard a report of a red Monster that went down on 129 this weekend.  Anyone know the rider?

Yeah, I saw that on GSB, along with the other normal bullshit that goes on up there.

Reason number 28 that I don't go up there on weekends.

Snip from GSB:

"The wrecked monster was a buddy I work with. Latest news is a three broken ribs and a jacked up femur. I'm still waiting back to hear if they are putting a rod in his leg."

Yeah, normally they fight about who is less of a squid.

"I rolled a stop sign... got a ticket..."

"Your a squid! You give motorcycles a bad name! I put stop and place both feet on the ground at every stop sign! Never once have I not completley stopped and looked left, right, and left again before proceeding with caution! (But my avatar is a pic of me dragging knee on 129...)"

"Just spoke with the rider, he's in good spirits all things considered.

Here's the break down of injuries:
He had to have his socket rebuilt around where the femur comes into the pelvis
5 breaks further down in the femur
4 broken ribs
1/2 collapsed lung
It was estimated he lost 3-4 pints of blood from internal bleeding and surgery. They were 10 mm short of bone after reconstructing the femur and left the rod exposed for future bone growth.

Today was the first day he was administered blood due to a fever he has had since Sunday. He was VERY happy to receive 2 pints today and get color back into his finger tips. He has been up a little with a walker getting use to walking again, but being up long take a toll on him due to lack of blood, but he was happy to eat solid foods today.

Tentatively scheduled for release back home for Friday unless the doctors decide to keep him longer. Crazy cat is already planning on the next bike and how far out it will be until he can throw a leg over."

I bet you this weekend there will be a bigger  Police showing.

Cobb Co. is going insane w/ cops right now. After the highspeed chase that killed the girl/guy last night.
Sucks... I knew the girl. I remember teaching a buddy of mine how to go two up when he first met her and leading them on their first ride together. And now she got on the back of some dudes bike and gets killed -- what a make the beast with two backsing waste.
