It's great to hear so many having success at clearing their names. waytogo

This whole speed cameras thing wouldn't piss me off so much if the  Police were still out on the beat picking up idiots who drive in their own little world, wander aimlessly between lanes, fail to indicate, push in where they don't fit, talk on phones, use on-ramps and emergency lanes as overtaking lanes, etc, etc, but it seems that speed is seen as the only offence worth pursuing.  It really gives me the sh1ts.

Have you ever tried to drive down the freeway at the speed limit with the cruise control on when the moron in front is speeding up to 20 over the limit between overpasses and slowing to 20 under when going under them because there might be a speed camera?  AAARRRGGGHHH !!!   bang head

This seemed like an appropriate place for this link:

http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/speed-doesnt-kill-says-benz-20100304-pjin.html

OK so it goes on to discuss many things which are not commonplace (and may never be) on bikes but it seems a very realistic view on things ... for a change.

A massive +1 on all of the above.

I would have thought this applies to you in particular ... but she had good reason for her comment.

Enjoy your trip new-Andy and worry about it later ... just be careful.

Well the trip to Tas was a blast (pics in due course)!!

However it seems the SRDO/OSR don't like showing leniency to hardened criminals  Tongue such as myself...and they were as useful as a bar mounted ash tray when it comes to explaining the implications.  I think I got the standard "bugger off" form letter truth be told.

I guess its pay the bucks, take the points and look out for something from the RTA in the mail box.  If/when that arrives I'll try  bow down yet again and see where that gets me.

Anyway...did I mention Tassie was a blast ?!?!?!?

Cheers
