Hey Guys

I just wanted to let everyone know of this great sale I ran into while looking for replacement adjustable levers. My first choices where the CRG's and the Pazzos but the folding adjustables from CRG are too expensive and the Pazzos are great at a great price but not folding...... So enter Fp Racing Levers.... This seems like its a limited time thing since its a group buy but its a great deal with the Free engraving.

http://www.pashnit.com/product/fptactical/fp_tactical_fitment.html

Im getting the Matte Black Shorties with Black Adjs for both sides of my M696, still thinking about what to engrave on each side...... Maybe DUCATI         MONSTER    or DUCATI           M696  any cool ideas and sugestions welcomed..... Same for thoughts on these? Anyone here has them? Comments

I hope I'm mistaken, but levers for 696 aren't available for order (so it says?) Great deal otherwise waytogo

If you can get them, how about "brake" and "clutch" engraving? Just for the hell of it Grin

Anybody ever try ASV levers? They are folding and adjustable and I got them for 125 each. They are just as good as CRGs and claim to be unbreakable

Take a look at these search results, people seem to be happy with them waytogo

Personally, I don't buy the "unbreakable" sales pitch - cheap publicity, that's all. Bending a lever is more frequent, but if one actually breaks once for every thousand crashes - the replacement/guarantee cost is cheap for the manufacturer.

Yeah the part numbers for the Monster 696 are C22  &   B25, clutch & brake respectively.

The ASV's sound great from what Ive read except I dont like the ASV engraved on the TOP of them and if they're guaranteed not to break why is the warranty only for 5 years? These are lifetime guaranteed although all claims most be made by original purchaser meaning not transferable if you sell the bike and the only reason why they wouldnt replace is if you send it in purely because of scratches but the lever is in ok condition + Bifold. Great Deal for $165.00 bucks free shipping and free engraving..... Sounds like an amazing deal to me....  And it seems with the black adj lever you could just run a sharpie over the Fp Racing logo and it would still be seen but not on WHITE.

I was just looking for levers since the other night (thanksgiving night) I went on a ride and a Audi A8 decided to back up into me even though he was looking straight at me and I was honking my horn! I was able to move the bike and the front tire onto the side of the car but his bumper hit my leg and it made me drop with the bike to the left side. Thankfully I was able to hit the trunk of his car really loud so he stopped and there was no damage to the bike except a little scratch on the clutch lever for which he gave me $200 and nothing happened to me..... So that little incident covered both sides since my front brake lever also has a little scratch from the front tire going under in my parking garage one morning.  Grin

BTW what are you guys thinking for engraving on the back, seems like a cool personal touch. Any cool ideas?

These are cool. But they arent as adjustable as the ASV levers. But they are cheap...

The ASV levers and anything folding really seem unbreakable. Youd have to have a VERY awkward crash to trash them. Even then I think motowheels offers free replacements if they ever do dinged up.

really? Did you already go through the checkout process or why do you say that? I see then listed there and actually contacted the company, waiting for the email though...

MsTek: What would that be?

Levers in Bold are available to Order

Copied from their website. Levers for the 696 are not in bold. It seems like they have only one part number available.

Just got the email from Fp Racing, the part numbers  I listed are correct for the Monster 696 although they won't be available in time for this deal.... They'll be available as of Feb 2010  [moto] so I guess I'll either wait or see what else is out there.

I have no knowledge of these but I have crash tested the ASV shorty levers while racing and I can say that they hold up well to 60-65 mph. lowsides that bend the clipon bar. Barely scuffed...best levers that I've ever had not only for the durability, but also for the adjustability and quality.  waytogo
