Just got some DBR-13's for my S4r.

Looking for pictures and opinions to mount below or above the triple clamp.

Also, I have a top mount steering damper, so looks like I have to keep the handlebar clamp to keep this feature.

(bars are already sold to Mr. Duckstew)

Bring it on fella's

Definitely go below. My picture sucks but

If you mount above, they will actually be higher than the stock handlebars. And IMO mounting above looks a little.....silly.

I've had 'em both. Above for the long ride to Vegas so i was less fatigued, and it was comfortable.

Below for more aggrssive riding:

Don't have the most current picture uploaded yet, but they are below the triple again.

I have them under the triple. It's still comfortable and sporty.

Seems to be a mix review on below or above triples.

Chris@cyclecat (formerly known as) is doing the install and he says most monsters get above the triple install.

I rode another members bike and they were below and felt fine.

Only issue is how to deal with the top mount steering damper

Remember you'll still be gaining a silly amount of sweep and adjustability. where ever you decide to put them, you'll be quite happy.

I just don't want to sell my arrow top damper and buy an ohlins side mount.

working duckstew on a solution.

So look look like most do under triple. That is the way I will go

Yep. That's what I did. Here's a shot or two:

If Stewart makes clamps to fit a damper under the (OEM) S4R triple, I'd buy one.

I have the CC triple and clipons.  I had my triple tapped by a local machine shop and run the Matris top mount damper on her

Works very well
