Well, it's a good thing it's cold and about to get nasty right now, because my SF is having surgery.  The Double Dog guys needed a streetfighter for development and prototyping their exhaust, so I figured it would be an interesting experience and said yeah. Plus I know a couple of they guys and they're sponsoring Tigre, so it's all good.  That said though, I'm nervous as a kitten.

I really thought that your bike was going to have something furry taped to it.

So that we've established that you're not exploring furrie-fetishes with your motorcycle, what kind of exhaust is this?  Just a slip-on or a full system?  I'm assuming slip on...you're as protective of that thing as a bear to her cub.   laughingdp

Perhaps I jumped erroneously to my conclusion that MM *wasn't* into furries.  Just a straight up beastiality?  Let yer freak flag fly.

Settle down class.

Yeah, it's a slipon, but it needs a new mid-pipe to get to a 2 into 1 exhaust, and that'll require some measuring and prototyping.

This is how it looks on the superbike:

BTW, did you up the ante in terms of what they need to give ya in return for you letting them use your SF?

Not yet. If I like the thing then I'll push a bit harder on the deal.

Obviously I should have you to represent me in all negotiations.  Grin

I'm not a good negotiator.  I'm good at coming in once things are already FUBAR'd and then screwing them up even more.

That's the job description of a lawyer...or a salesman.

That looks like there's no typical muffler packing in it, is it just baffles?

Or just an open pipe?

Wai  - WA?

You're not getting a free one? !??!?!?!

Dude, get a free DD system. Remind them that you're saving them $20k on a bike for this, plus it's all your risk if they f-up yours + you're out your ride until they're done. How many days car rental is that?

You should get a free system minimum.

PS it looks like it makes you go faster.  waytogo

Pack + baffles.  FWIW, that picture is from an early prototype.
