Correct me if I'm wrong, but, are track bikes supposed to have lights?

Or no VINs to save weight?

no VIN number vehicles are a crime in themselves. Its not "allegedly" stolen at this point. There is no reason whatsoever to not have a VIN.

that's what the auto theft task force thought when they started confiscating gp bikes at oak hill raceway 10 years ago.

needless to say, somebody educated them.

You're telling me! Once it was worse-the SOBs didn't even take my property, just cut it in half.

There I was, starting a new business, raising turkeys, when some sicko took one of my only two prime breeding stock and cut it in half! I don't even know how he did it-it looked like poor or Harold got severed by a watermelon. What bastard did it just left him there in the highway to die alone.

If I ever find that guy, I tell ya....

Shouldn't have let him roam free like that. Being in the turkey business you should know how they tend to wander. Especially toward rural two lane roads in broad daylight and tend to make tactical errors regarding on-coming traffic of the two wheeled kind. Just tragic to hear of your loss though. What sorry bastard would do such a thing! If you haven't done so then I'm calling PETA! Trust me, between you, me and PETA we'll find the sorry SOB! [thumbsup] Damn, makes my neck hurt just thinking about it! [bang]

no, the issue here is the seller claims the VIN was removed.

removing a VIN is a federal and state crime.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

it's illegal period to remove a vin unless you are a manufacturer.  if the shop did it, then they are at fault, but no matter what, it just stinks to heaven.

Let's see, a shop is a shop unless the shop is a chop shop but still is a shop, even though is a chop shop.

Did I get it right? I mean the semantics and details.
