what's the minimum wage? average wage? taxe rate? cost of living, etc? I find that even though germany taxes people a lot, they still get paid enough to run around in uber cars.
I like it ok, but I only stick around because I'm stuck. (I also like skiing and the stunning girls)
Minimum wage would be around US$36,000 / € 23,500 (tax ~25%)
Average is ~75,000 (tax ~35%)
With those wages, you can imagine the cost of labor if you need anything done.
Norway is expensive - a room in a hotel 1 person $160, 20 cigarettes $15, good meat $25/lbs, 1/2 litre Coke $5 at 7-11.
Gas $2.20/liter ($7.50/gallon?), bottle of average Scotch $90, .....
Where it's most remarkable is tax on vehicles though....
Big country, few people and empty roads make up for some of the negatives
