Multistrada 1200 - Any details?

Anyone know pricing, availability?  Vince? I saw a thread a while back but i can't find it.

We've done some nice weekend riding lately 600km last weekend and 700km this weekend, when you do those sort of stints you realise just what really matters. Wind protection, comfort and LOTS of HP !!  The S4R got up and boogied quite well but anything above 130 i was getting slammed by the wind. When we got out of the Blue Mountains down to the M4 at Penrith it was like i was riding in a cyclone. I dropped to 110 and was still being smashed around, meanwhile the wife on her CBR1000 just cruised by.

The multi owners raved about the last one, perhaps it's time for me to see what the goss is about? 150hp and the new looks definitely have me interested.

From what I know there is going to be three models.
Entry level which is usual Ducati, bike with no air in the tyres and oil at extra cost.
The S model having Ohlins and CF pretty bits
Third is a touring model that is supposed to have Ohlins and all the panniers (3) minus the pretty CF bits

Pricing I'm not so sure about, I have heard starting at under $30k usual + $5k or so for the Ohlins and goodies.
Touring price I'm not so sure about.

As I've heard they will not be here until March/April
If you're thinking about one you might want to get in fast cause I'm sure the list is long.

what's the minimum wage? average wage? taxe rate? cost of living, etc? I find that even though germany taxes people a lot, they still get paid enough to run around in uber cars.

I like it ok, but I only stick around because I'm stuck. (I also like skiing and the stunning girls)

Minimum wage would be around US$36,000 / € 23,500 (tax ~25%)
Average is ~75,000 (tax ~35%)
With those wages, you can imagine the cost of labor if you need anything done.

Norway is expensive -  a room in a hotel 1 person $160, 20 cigarettes $15, good meat $25/lbs, 1/2 litre Coke $5 at 7-11.
                                Gas $2.20/liter ($7.50/gallon?), bottle of average Scotch $90, .....
                                Where it's most remarkable is tax on vehicles though....

Big country, few people and  empty roads make up for some of the negatives

Yeah - I'd pay for less people.  Tax rates don't sound that much different to Oz but cost of living seems higher.  And petrol has long been way more expensive in Europe than here. We don't know how lucky we are.

mmmm, multi....something, yes, very good looking accessories. I especially like those tall, lithe, ahem...hand warmers ?!
