NCR's history

Notice the logo on the clutch side engine cover. I had no idea NCR had been around since 1967 until I saw the picture below and then checked out their website for their history.

You have to respect a company with a long history of making parts and racing Ducatis.

I'm guessing that side cover doesn't come up for sale much these days...
but day-um is that sweet! Cable-operated dry-clutched Pantah motor in full-race-trim... Yummy!

WOw... good catch! The fact that they make such awesome titanium parts is enough for me to respect them... now, the hard part is me being able to AFFORD them...

Any body going to WDW2010 should be treated to the display of NCR products as two years ago I was looking at new blue on their stand when a young man asked me if I would like to see it up close plus the rest of the NCR products which were on display in the awning. It turned out that this young chap was Michele Poggipolini and he showed me round new blue plus the rest of the NCR products and after a chat,a drink and an ice cream sunday he introduced me to an american gentleman by the name of Cooke Neilson, whom I talked to for quite a time (what a guy). WDW2007 was a fantastic holiday for me personally but that meeting with the NCR team was the icing on the cake and if your thinking of attending next years event just do it you won't regret the long haul

If you're ever in Bologna stop by their shop and down the road is the Poggipolini factory. You'll get a serious history lesson from Joe and Michele there
