Just curious.

Has anyone installed some handguard for added wind protection during cold season?

Trying to make my bike as year round as possible.

I am having heated grips put on, but also would like some wind protection.

Obviously this will be a rigged up contraption, but curious if anyone has done it and if you could post some pics.

Buell made some.  They may still be available.

I had some on mine for one winter before buying my other bike.  The stock guards from a Suzuki V-strom are a direct bolt on if you have coffin type levers w/ the hollow mounting pin..  Maybe not the prettiest, but have good coverage, and easy to take back off when it warms up.

I ran the V-Strom units on my SV650 and they worked great. scduc's setup works better with the looks of the bike, though.
