"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Only a few good things happened on 2009. Didn't lose my job, which could be a good or bad thing, and I was able to do my first track day. Everything else pretty much sucked.

2009 was pretty good for me....but I don't see any reason why 2010 can't be even better.

Same here-I'm going to aim higher.

Last year I bought a house and knocked my wife up.

This year I'll buy two houses and knock up two women.   ;D

Hmm knock up two women and the 1st one you knocked up might knock you out...

Goal for 2011:

Wake up from coma,

Learn to walk.

Enjoy drinking my remaining meals.

The last part of 2009 was good... looking forward to 2010 to get even better!

I'll agree with this sentiment.

I started the year unemployed.

With no jobs to be had anywhere in my field, I decided to take my freelance work full time.

I got an offer in August to work full time for one my freelance clients. A career change really, as it involves mostly construction estimating and sales. But still in the industry i've been in for my whole life.

The new job is not a conflict of interest with my freelance business, but there is cross over opportunities both ways.

Since starting there in August I've bid out over 4 mil worth of work and have closed on 1 mil of it so far.

To end the year I've gotten myself (thru blood, sweat, hard work and luck) a salary/profit sharing gig and a business income on top of it.

Business prospects are picking up with the upturn for both my new company and my own freelance work. I haven't been this busy in a winter EVER.

So went from no income to averaging $2k a week.

At the risk of incurring some kharmic retribution, make the beast with two backs my former employers. Losers.

2010 - Bring it on!
