Yes, doesn't seem like a bad deal, as long as the only damage is as stated and no frame issues. Spend a couple more thousand and get a nice example is my advice. However,  do some research, I've heard a rumor or two that the maintenance and reliability on the Brutale is just that.

I like, but I am wondering why he wanted another Brutale - the only acceptable answer to me if I was looking to buy this bike would be "more displacement".  If everything mechanical checks out, that looks like a sweet deal, even with the salvage title and miles.
If you do pick this up, I would like to hear a report on the 750 motor - I have always wondered what the F4 750 is like...

Sure dig that guys garage!

Why is he selling? I had a friend with one of those and they were God aweful unfomfortable. Supposedly the new ones are way more butt friendly. Also, anybody with a garage like that can afford an upgrade.

Why not start a single thread with all your bikes in it rather than a separate thread for every bike you run across?   Smiley

Meh.

Wait a few weeks and the price will start dropping.  I picked up a cherry 2006 S2R 800, with Zards, 15K miles for $4K back in September. The OO had started at $6500 and dropped the price every week it didnt sell.

Problem is, that it has a salvage title. Unless you plan on using it for track only, many state's wont let you register it for street

Not a problem in CA, but moot point, I'm not going for the MV.
