"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

We had that 3 weeks ago, and 90% of the snow is still on the ground.

2:30 and 16" - yes Ducatiz and I are in similar zips

If you look closely the bench in my yard has all but disappeared from the last pic.

45 minutes of aggressive shoveling and the jeep is free as are all important paths.  No need to climb on the stairmaster today.  Street has yet to be plowed, but unlikely that will happen before late tomorrow at the earliest I'm guessing.

It's heading our way. We're on the coast and they are expecting 8-14" of accumulation. That's a lot for us...

Yep I'm in that area too - couple feet on the ground and still going. This area just isn't prepaired for it like WI would be. Not enough plows or people who know how to handle the snow. It's all about scale and DC isn't scaled for it. When I lived in the CO mountains this would be a daybto celebrate the awsome skiing for tomorrow
