how the hell did that happen?  I guess launching himself off that ledge was more of a risk than he bargained for.

JB weld to the rescue!  laughingdp

My racing fantasy is to put together a team, and aggressively solicit JB Weld for sponsorship.  I think this is the bike I could use to build my empire.

A few years ago on a DMF group Arkansas ride a buddy low sided and buggered up the left side foot peg bracket and shifter assembly. While the rider rested up his bruised body in the motel room me and another guy spend the afternoon JB "welding" the bracket and foot peg assembly back together. I thought we did a damn good job. waytogo He was going to slab it home the next day on the interstate stuck in 4th gear. Our "repaired" JB Weld fix lasted about 200 yards!! bang head The rider had to make the 350+ mile ride home stuck in 4th and his left leg stretched out on the remaining passenger peg. applause bow down I would have needed lifetime chiropractic care! Tongue Hey... it could have worked!

duct tape and a spint works better for that situation lol unless you had unlimited amounts of JB Weld

i once molded an entire windshield wiper arm mounting assembly out of that shit. it was cheap pot metal that broke in half... so i stuck it back together, and then coated the entire thing in JB. then i sanded it down nice and stuck it back on the car, and spraypainted it black. sold the car like that, and i doubt he's noticed yet.

when I used to mountain bike all the time and hang out at the bike shop, there was no end of people coming in the shop with JRA stories.. "Just riding along"  Usage:  "I was just riding along when the wheel folded up."

"I was just riding along and the swingarm snapped."
