Haven't been there but I saw the Desmo in there a few months back.
Don't know if it's still there.

yeah saw that in Darling Harbour when I was walking through a couple of months ago. Took some photos with the iphone, but not really good.
It was wonderful to see it, but then I thought it was a bit sad tat it wasn't out on a track somewhere. Poor beastie!

What would typically be done here: restaurant buys essential decoration - restaurant wants to redecorate - restaurant has a hard time finding a buyer - restaurant has to sell it for cheap - restaurant owner offers to buy it.

Could that happen in OZ?

oh, so cynical....  Wink that would never regularly happen....

oh and on another note...let's not forget that the pizza maker at Moretti's in Leichhardt rides a monster - he only works Monday nights though?!

Even a bike like that would be a cheap decoration compared to the rest of the shop fit out here in Sydney's Darling Harbour.

They would not need to sell the bike on.
It would be registered in the Business name.
And all the Running cost would be a tax deduction.

Always wondered what this was at the back ...

... its a make the beast with two backsing expensive pizza warmer ...

Do you think it is the same device that Dominos use? Does full titanium add to the authentic flavour?

Eaten at the Parra one a few times. Great food. We were with a big group (christening) and they couldnt have done enough for us. Great food, great service. No nice bar ornaments at the parra one though.

Though I do remember one of the waitresses having nice hood ornaments, if that counts..... Evil

There wouldn't be too many running costs with the Desmo sitting on the bar. maybe a bit of Mr Sheen to give it a polish would be all your could justify!
