I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I've got carbon Termi's on her. Plus, after 10 years and 41,000 miles, the internals probably need repacking... She ain't quiet!   [evil]

We were going up The Snake from the Rock Store.  Between R S and the first real turns its open sweepers and he was way out in front, but my little 750 is pretty adept at carrying corner speed.   ;)   That combined with her usable power band allowed me to catch up and stay close in the tight stuff.   [moto]

To be fair, he had just traded up from an R6 and was getting used to the bike, but it still boosted my self-esteem all the same to have a guy with 3x the power not be able to pull away...    ;D ;D [moto]

( I put an R6 and a GSX-R600 in their place earlier on Stunt Rd.)

I got a $500 bill from my mazda mech to replace a coil on the wagon's V6.  One of the "rear" ones that are under the intake manifold and associated bits.  That includes changing all the spark plugs while he's at it.  For an extra $150, I had him change the other two coils on that half of the motor.  Regrettably, I just didnt have the time to do the work myself.

I got a cool book: Big Sid's Vincati.  The extra cool thing is the wife doesn't know squat about motorcycles, and doesn't care to learn (though she insists that I continue my moto-lust; everyone needs a passion she says!).

So, she doesn't know what a Vincent is, and only knows what a Ducati is because I own one and her friend is always going on how cool Ducatis are.  How she knew to get a book about something as cool as the Vincati is beyond me.  I know it came up once in a conversation, but all our moto convesations go like this:

Me: That's a cool bike.

Her: Why?

Me: Because it's an early model with...

Her: Did you take out the trash?

Me: Yes.  Anyway, it's an early model with...

Her: I love you, but I don't care.

Strange when you consider she's prone to saying things like, "Honey, you haven't been for a ride lately.  You should get out for a ride."

Usually she says this on the weekend when she also has chores for me to do; she doesn't have to say it twice!

For a gal so uninterested in motorcycles, she's a great wife for a motorcyclist.
