termi slip ons 1100

i just installed a set of termi slip ons with the ecu and air filter on my 09 1100. took it out for about 15 minutes and everything seems to be running and sounding great do I need to have my dealer set up the ecu or not?

you did everything you needed to do.
install the ECU, Air filter, exhausts. turn the bike on. ride.

everyone on the web site is always saying in order to get the performance gains out of the system you have to have your dealer tune it?

you can't tune the DP ECU for the 696/1100

in the old unit, from what i read, you needed to go get the throttle position sensor reset. but the siemens unit does it by itself.
