have a Birkin S3 (Lotus 7 clone) that is a lot of fun, nearly motorcycle like (and FWIW doesn't feel much safer either ;)....bought it as a MC substitute and then got a Monster anyway

I would LOVE to have one of those....
2005 S2R800
2006 S2R1000
2015 Monster 821

Nah I can't run that severe a drop here in New England. I grabbed that off audizine while I was at work. It is pretty sick though!

This is mine in Winter Trim exterior is stock V8 is not  [evil]

still, bad ass.. what do you have done?

I've driven the S6 before.. Its... ok.. just such a huge car, moves well for its size but not like the S4 (I've even driven Rs6's with software.. insanely powerful. it's pulling at 90 like mine does at 40) but they aren't as fun as the S4.

the V8 is a blast, with a good exhaust the sound is awesome, a lot more smooth then the 2.7t.. but not as easy to mod.
the 2.7t with RS6 turbos, now thats entertaining  [evil] [evil]

honestly, what I would really want (if it was available and affordable )

[evil] [evil] [evil]

I'd bolt on a K04 (330hp 350ft/lbs) and have serious fun.

Autostrada Pilot

I'd love to have a Lotus 7 replica.

My wish list:
Shelby Cobra Replica
Elise (would LOVE to have it turbo'd)
M3
2003 Monster 620 Dark - Sold

1999 Monster 900 City - Sold

After 7 years of Monsters, I'm sadly bikeless right now.

I couldn't get the keys to the cobra... ;)

I also was pretty fond of the Brit sports cars.

69428 Mustang...

Is that the model year, or the displacement?  ;D

Either way it'd have to be a helluva car.

I'd bolt on a K04 (330hp 350ft/lbs) and have serious fun.

Here's the list:
Full APR Pipes
ECU Tune
Intake
JHM Intake spacers
LW crank pulley
Snub Mount
Diff mount

Evenutally
Ohlins Coil overs
Alcon BBK
Super charger after the thickness between cylinder bores (5.5mm of aluminum  :-\) proves able to handle the boost.

Send me a pm if you want more details... I don't want to cloud this topic

I had an E46 M3 and that was all the car I ever wanted.  Put a smile on my face everytime.

However, the one car that I always said I'd trade it for, if given the unlikely opportunity, is this gorgeous ride ...

There's five pre-owned ones here in the US... Starts at 185,000

Bun-bun

This topic is too broad.
There's cars I want but will never own (Ferrari 246GTS, M-B SLK, Alfa 8C-2800, etc.),

Cars I want and might someday break down and buy (M-B 500SL, Lotus Elise, BMW Z(M)3 coupe, Porsche 928S4),

And cars I own or have owned that I really enjoyed driving ('68 Jaguar XKE 2=2, '80 Fiat Spider, Mini Cooper S,)

Anyway, there's no way I could have just one car. I'd need at least a sporty car and a truck, so my choice(s): Mini Cooper S for twisties, and my Dodge diesel 4x4 for highway and hauling.

Anyone have any experience with the John Cooper Works edition of the Mini Cooper?  that thing always looked like a helluva lot of fun, but it's one car I don't think I've ever seen on the street.  Not even here in LA, where you basically see everything imaginable.

Two people in my local club have one. Great fun, but not as practical for street use as the "S". The extra 40-45 hp is noticable, but IMO the suspension is too harsh.

I thought the suspension was a very nice upgrade over the stock setup and didn't find it harsh in the least. It's definately not plush though
