anyone staying for the track days can stay here as long as they like.

We're only about 35 ish minutes to the track and bikes can be left overnight in the garages if you're doing both days.

This will be my first track day will anyone else be riding in the slow group with me?

Statler

yes.   I am slow.   G is glacial.   (said with love as she's looking)

(she is almost slowest of beginner group here...couple new riders slower... and I am on the quicker end of it)
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

I run with the lead group on the street but having never ridden on the track I'm not sure how much of that transfers.

I do have stupidity and an insanely competitive spirit on my side

edit: I realize this is not a race

FIsh Tail events are pretty non-intimidating.  The even put the Cambridge cops on their behemoth BMW's into the B group.  Trust me, you're  faster then they were.

I'm not sure that exchange made any sense.

I was talking about the impending wee incredible not noticing I had abandoned his new life for a track day.

Why build up false expectations for him?

someone else was making fun of me for pregnant doging about the price. i thought you were too.

My first trackday I was sweating so much my helmet liner was soaked!!!

After 6 plus trackdays NHMS I still get a little nervous in the bowl.

by the time i did my first full trackday i had been riding long enough to know that i wasn't going to bin it. i was afraid i would go too slow.
but i was still nervous about being out there with people that would be going that much faster than me.

Who laughed at you? You seemed pretty jolly all on your own to me. :-\

...and we all laughed with you as you were shooting NAKID with the roman candle.  WTF? [laugh]
