I think they used to have a 10 person group discount.

We should be able to find one more person?

No guarantee we'll get anywhere, and to be honest I don't feel like chasing anyone to go have fun.

From their perspective they probably would require me to pay for the spots because they could say yes and then if people back out they gave the group rate and have no group. I'm not prepared to pay for those spots.

I realize it's a chunk of change and hoped I could save some. Guess not.

I'm going to be there one way or the other.

Ya I agree with Nate. People have the best intentions. But in the end you know there will be some no shows for whatever reason.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Ok..... lm and I need some seasoned traveler advice here.

I hunted down some great airfare prices via orbitz 228 each round trip from lax to boston (when lm last checked a few months ago...they where like 750 each)

The wife would like to do a lil sight see'n and such after the nuptials. I havent a clue as to where to go, what to see or where to stay.

Anybody out there have some advice?

Also, without having to go back and reread the entire thread (cuz i is lazy), are there places to stay near Nates?
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

What kind of things are you into?  City, historical, ocean/beach, nature/mountains? All of it can be found between Boston and DIMBY.

There are the usual motel chains...one is even within a couple of miles.  http://www.comfortinn.com/hotel-ashland-new_hampshire-NH022

Do you want to sight see in NH...or are you thinking in the Boston area?

There are many more things to do in Boston.

In NH there is the Christa McCauliff planetarium/space museum. Portsmouth is kinda touristy with a nice waterfront area. Of course there are the mountains and the outdoorsy things.

The Lakes Region is a great area to relax...eat... and drink.  Wolfboro for just a relaxing vacation.   Meredith offers some good shopping, dining and lodging.

this is a link to the Lakes Region.  It does get very crowded up there....lots and lots of tourists.  But a beautiful area...I have been going up there for 20 years.  I go to an area that has nothing... Moultonborough...  just the Lake and a boat.
