if i had a set I would take them to work and give them a quick poke with the handheld XRF to get a general idea of what the rotor is made from.
ideally, then lpi rotor and carrier, but the buttons would have to be cut off to do that.
Jebus dude, what do you do for a living? Handheld?

I've heard of companies getting their stuff made in China to save money/make more money - then the next thing you know somebody in China is selling your design and competing against you with it. Not sure if that is what happened with the SpeedyMoto stuff... just as likely a true clone I guess. I've had too many cheap Chinese parts break to trust my life to Chinese brake discs just yet. YMMV

I'm not pro china anything .... Well maybe the women..... But ALOT of stuff is being sourced there with awesome quality.
A good friend of mine was promoted to "head of research and devlopement for china" within his USA company. They make plastic injection machines. He has told me ... What we all know... That many US companies are manufacturing there with American management in place.
Is there crap manufactured there? Yes there is. But there is also some great stuff too.

I'd still rather support a company like Speedymoto (and I do) that actually makes their products here. I support local business where I live and avoid stores like (Malwart). Yes I do pay more for stuff, but at least I am helping people where I live. (Neighbors), as there are many independently owned businesses where I live.

the black ano on my made-in-china master cylinder clamps with mirror holes (Brembo GP mc's don't have them originally) turned brown after my 2nd ride on a sunny day. fitment was fine, sure, but quality was not "awesome", and I can't exactly mail them back, or really complain to any meaningful extent. I'll just not purchase again.
With rotors, there's a hole lot riding on their functionality. EBC rotors are dirt cheap (i don't know why) but then at least you have a domestic vendor to complain to.
