just installed the termi slip ons with ecu and air cleaner on my 09 1100. does the new ecu change the rpm's of the rev limiter?

Not certain as to any rev limiter change, but it's a non-issue anyway because the air-cooled two-valve mill stops making power long before any rev limit could kick in. Plus on a desmo there is no unsafe rev limit because you can not float the valves and hit a piston if you were to "overrev" it. This is precisely why Ducatis are among the finest and most reliable engines available in all of motorcycledom. Ride it, rev it, love it.

not true, there's a fuel cutoff at the higher RPM's. hit that mid corner and you'll not be loving it. as far as running out of power, the 696 2v makes power right up to the fuel cutoff.
the DP does raise it, but not sure on the 1100 how much. the 696 raises it to 10.5k. (i'll confirm that next spring, but others have said so as well)

There is no reason to be so close to the limiter mid corner IMO.
The beauty of the 2V Duc, and some 4Vs as well, is the engines ability to make usable power down low in the power band.
The faster you spin the relatively large mass the harder the things are to turn, and the more sensitive to throttle inputs.
While it's making power at the limiter it would be making better power a gear higher. You can see in a dyno chart that both the hp and torque fall off rapidly above 8K...

well part of it is the 696 has a definite pull starting at 6k and it spins very quickly from there. setting up for a corner and entering at a gear that when you roll on the throttle you don't hit that 6k at the wrong point in the turn or lug out of the 4k hole means you only have a few thousand revs to work with.
once i get the DP ecu installed i won't have that 4k hole, should accelerate a bit smoother through that range and onto the 6k kick, so it should be easier to pick a higher gear. add to the fact i'll be adding the lightweight flywheel to spin things faster, it just may get scary
my old 900 carbie, pick a gear and i could pull from any corner, but the 696 is just so high strung in comparison. if you look at that dyno chart, even though the power is falling off it's still better at 9k on tq than anywhere below 6k, which shows the spike i was talking about.
anyway, it's not so much that i was saying you should be near the fuel cutoff, just saying it is there and it hits hard.
i'm really interested to see what the dyno looks like on my bike when finished with all the little mods i'm doing. should be a pretty good comparison.
