I've actually been at the Anvil most wed nights, but unfortunately no bike when there!  and btw, anvil had fireman #4 on CASK for 3 bucks a pint not too long ago!  definitely slightly different on cask, in a good way!

I haven't quite recovered my finances, but I imagine I'll start up wednesday night anvil again coming up next wednesday or possibly start doing a sunday night thing (it's way quieter on sundays and the bartenders like it better that way)

I've been MIA too and would love to see the crowd. I even get to play with the S2R for a while as the evil ones (Eximports) have my 695 hostage.

And about Anvil....
coincidentally, I met a guy there tonight who used to be on the board before my time but had to sell for med school - ItalianS2R. He knew a few of you folks, says hello and misses the crowd. His wife who I know through my foodie circles hosts an event there most Monday nights called CakeandCocktails with yes, FREE cake (she's good too), a pastry chef buddy of mine also moonlights there and there are often treats to be had.
I'll keep you guys posted on the next one and would love to see some of you guys there. Had the sidewalk all to myself tonight.

very cool, didn't know they had a monday night thing there, I may start trying to make it a regular sunday night thing instead of wednesday, we'll see. I like that it's super quiet on sunday nights, but having a few more people there on wednesdays is kind of nice too *shrug*

whats up guys! Ive been MIA for a long time now, but itching to get back on a bike (even more so recently [moto])
Just a little update on my end - graduate med school in May
Will be doing an Emergency Medicine residency somewhere in this country (I find out where in March, but really want to stay in Houston) for the next three years and then, then I get to find a real job.
