What do you think of this 696 deal?

So a local dealer offered me, what I perceive to be, a sweet deal on a brand new bike..

2010 Pearl White 696 w/ ABS

$9500 out the door including registration, documentation, delivery and prep

I understand the margins on motorcycles are much less than cars (i've always fought for invoice on automobiles) and the 696 is an entry-level bike for Ducati.. hence the margins are even lower.

With that being said, am I getting a fair deal?

They are asking for a $500 deposit, special 2.9% financing, and I'm going to try and get a discount on accessories (helmet, jacket, gloves)

Appreciate any feedback!

I've been looking to upgrade as well and therefor looking at new ducks. Retail for the 696 is $8995, so if you're getting "everything" for $9500 out the door it sounds like a great deal to me!! Buy it! [thumbsup]

Yes that is a great deal! Specially since the ABS option costs $1300 more to add and the price they gave you would be a normal price for a 696 without ABS.....

Yeah, definitely sounds like a deal. Beautiful BMWs too, color me envious.
