Here is my most recent attempt at woodworking.... only the table is built out of MDF and I painted it to look like wood  There hearth in the background is also all faux stone and concrete.  IMG_4229 by Evan Rapp, on Flickr |

I always choke when I see the prices of media centers like that. We bought one very similar to what's in the link 10 years ago and I think it was $1,400. I still have it and it's held up very well so I feel it was worth it but that's still a lot of money for what amounts to a shelf with some doors. |

This summer I got into making mandolins. Just about to finish my third one (on the left), right in time for the cold weather when my garage shop becomes unusable.  |
