Add one to the ticker...Yup I bined it. Lost the front end in a corner. Going in fast but nothing crazy. Decreasing radius turn just feathered the brake and leaned it in more at no point did i feel like i had no chance of making it other wise i would have stood it up and clamped down on the brakes. Minimal damage to the bike, broke the rear luggage rack and the header pipe and can came lose. just picked it up, straightened the bars to the front wheel and was back on the road. No injuries to me. Mostly my right shin and forearm hit the ground and i popped right back up and finished off the slide in a jog. Right shoulder a little sore, but no big deal. Lucky.

Lazy bike, got some good distance.

Gear held up. Arostich pants and RevIT mesh jacket. Had MotoX knee pads under the pants

As long as you are OK - minor damage to bike and gear just adds "character"........

Ride safe, Dan [moto]

Seems the gear saved you from a beating.  Good to hear both you and the bike are in good enough condition to keep going [thumbsup]

Question:  Does this count toward the MOB Crash-Ticker?  Inquiring minds want to know!

(glad you're ok mang!)  [thumbsup]

Glad to hear you are alright.  One thing though, you need to clean your headlight.   [laugh] [moto] [cheeky]

Screw the MOB Crash Ticker.  It's the Clap Ticker that DTM's gonna wreak havoc on.

I quoted this only to ensure everyone knew I was referring to you DTM.  I am so jealous, you are my hero.  Whenever I see a new post on this thread I click to your blog.  Awesome pics, Awesome fun, Awesome adventure.  To have the sack to quit your job and take off on an adventure like that is really something.
