Great pics.  [thumbsup] How's the sushi?  :D

Fresh, good and some place cheap! Japan has really been about the food as much as it has been about the sights. So much good food here and they really know how to do beef.  [drool]

I could see a killer MTB trail through the bamboo. [evil]

So "rock watching" requires stadium seating huh?

Need more bike pics [thumbsup]

<waves>  Hi, Dan.  Japan sounds great.  I totally get the thing about seeing too many temples.  It's like visiting Churches in Italy (or in most of Europe for that matter).  After a coupla dozen, you're like "Yes, it's pretty.  Just like the last eighteen I saw."   ;D  Is it Australia next?  Dude, if you're not certified, take the time (and $) to get certified and dive the Barrier reef on a live-aboard boat.  If you get to Cairns and can wait around for a bit, you can get a deal where you can pay a fraction of the price for a liveaboard dive trip in exchange for working on the boat.  Even if it screws your finances, it's worth it.
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

That sounds like a great option, but no OZ. Going to skip it. I chose to spend more time in Japan. Off to the Philippines next, but that dive option may work there also, i am already certified but haven't dove since my certification test 10years ago. So i should be good  :-X <-holding breath.

Dan,  There is no denying that you are awesome.  So awesome, that a measly 1000 posts don't do your awesomeness any justice.  2000 posts however...  much more fitting.

When (if ever) are you coming back to the US?

Wow look at that in the 2K club.  [beer]

Should be late August. Philippines is up next for a few weeks and ill be back on a bike for two of those, maybe longer.

No time to rest when i get home, i need to convert my 690SMC to an enduro machine. Larger tank, new forks/front end, hard bags, comfy seat and gear for south of the border. And figure out a way to make some money in between to help my beef fund  [drink].

So were not even half way yet and the best, riding, is yet to come.

Some primer pix of your next riding experience in Banaue Rice Terraces in the Philippines...... enjoy!

the Cordilleras

Bagabag stopover. This is the town before the junction going to Santiago and Banaue.
This place serves buko (coconut) cheese pie, fresh buko juice, and pancit cabagan. All delicious! :eat

Then off to Las Vegas Resto in the town proper of Banaue for breakfast, a walk down a hundred steps and a vertical descent of around 100 meters.
Come to where the flavor is. Come to Marlbo...er, Las Vegas Restaurant!  ::)

Breakfast is served. Porksilog (Fried pork and egg with wild mountain rice) :tump
