"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

That looks like Walt's logo on the tail.

I remember when that used to happen to me. Years ago.

And then you stopped hitting the Krispy Kreme?

Still hit the Krispy Crème, just not on a weekly basis.

If it's the same button TravMan was talking about, that's an odd relationship with your donuts  Lips Sealed Er wait, maybe I read that wrong.

Love the bike! I'm trying to picture the Puma swoosh in white, and kind of almost see it...

Just finishing up the wiring harness, cables and hoses.  It is fun as heck to see the smile on my uncles face as his old racer comes back together.  This is a partial restoration as we wanted to keep as much original as possible.  Painted the frame, fenders and forks but leaving the old (and somewhat chipped) chrome alone for now.  Also keeping the headlight buck, tank and seat all stock.  He set a world (class) speed record at Bonneville in 1970 with this little thing.  It is a 1968 1968 HD badged-Aermacchi and I can't wait to ride it!   Dolph

Yup it is a Walt bike. It was on Bikexif the other day. The engine is from a retired BCM racing bike. It sits in PUMA's boston HQ, such a shame.....
