I LOVE LOVE LOVE the exposed vertical head!!!  WANT!!  Evil   drool

Now they need to re-route the fuel lines and wiring on the right side and cut up those CF belt covers to expose the mechanical goodness beneath!

I agree, I love the look of the exposed vertical head, and wish I could find a fuel tank for my bike that would do a better job of this.

However, I think what they did to "supplement" the rear half of the frame is ass ugly, and doesn't mesh with the factory frame layout at all...

Where can I find one of these motors?

I know there are only around 50 bikes made but there has to be more motors than that.

I am a thumper lover and that seriously made my heart skip a beat. waytogo

jeebus, that engine looks like it is about 1000lbs too big for that frame...  i bet the handling on it is very straight-line

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Make your own? When I saw it, it looked like a bored and stroked 916 motor with a missing piston and cylinder. Wikipedia says it's displacement is half of that of a 1098.

Some photos I took:

Not so straight forward.  IF you look at the top of this photo, you see something weird where the top crank rod would be -- it's a balancer.  There is a sort of half-rod riding on the journal which connects to it.

Call a dealer and see if they have a catalogue for it.  If they do, you can order it if its in stock.  I have euro-spec bikes and they ahve the catalogues for them.

I think the frame is the stock frame.  The body work is smaller which makes the engine look bigger.

I've seen this Monster before with a different paint job.  I like this iteration the best.  I really like the cafe style bump seat.
