The mid-70's Morbidelli 125 was a thing of beauty to behold, beautifully made, quality components. King of it's class. But got surprisingly tough competition with the advent of the widely available and very much more affordable Honda MT125R. I remember laughing at the first MT125s I saw, with their simple air cooled single inherited from the 125 Elsinore MX bike. How could such a parts-bin crudity hope to complete? But the unsophisticated Honda was very much a match on the track, right out of the box. Soon stopped laughing.... And I still dont understand.....
Agreed, that Morbidelli was an amazing bike and an even better story. How a tiny Italian company came up w a 2 stroke that beat the mighty Japs in the 125cc class was a miracle. The 125 class had been owned by suzuki and honda for 15 years. That 125cc twin was capable of 140mph!
If you guys like crap like this you need to buy this book "Mick Walkers Italian Racing Motorcycles"

Sorry, I don't have any info on that bike. Did you notice the tiny front/large rear wheel combination on that bike?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
