I can't really picture ever being able to get the front wheel down on that bike. Just not physically possible.

SURE IT IS....when you turn it off and park it!

I could be mistaken, but I believe it's under the seat.

My guess would be PCV breather box, but that's just a guess.

My guess would be PCV breather box, but that's just a guess.

Not suspension gas can..
Not nitrous..
Not anything frame oriented as it's zip tied to the frame.

Breather mechanism might be the best guess. The bevel engine was very different than the belt heads but the breather was in a similar place (with the oil filter on TOP right in front of it...)

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

If you look at the left and right side shots, you can see a tube running from behind the rear brake reservoir up and toward the general direction of the top of the tube. That, combined with

Not suspension gas can..
Not nitrous..
Not anything frame oriented as it's zip tied to the frame.

that makes me think breather box.

Not a bad solution.

There is a pretty good story that I'd never heard before...

I liked this pic.  Are those Desmo rocker arms chrome plated or just highly polished?
