Was looking at the wife's bike-noticed that there are only two reflectors. I feel this isn't as safe as it could be-how can I install more? Is there a source for spares? Do they fit on the trellis? Thanks all for your help.

buy some low voltage strobes and mount them on the sides.

best to use multiple colors.  make sure they are pointing at horizon so they hit the sclera dead on.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

get the reflective rim tape

Jaman

if you would like 2 more, I think I can dig mine up...   [beer]

just throw a strobe on her helmet.  :P they make ones that are pretty small these days and weather proof.

I could mount a lite-brite and spell out "Ducati" with the little lights.

Better yet, install a fairing, drill thousands of holes in it and then side light it from the interior of the fairing: That way the fairing becomes the light-brite.

Seriously, I recommend just using strips of reflective tape or go to a bicycle store. They often carry reflectors meant to attach to narrow tube frames.
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
