Now that I have the attention of all 3 of you  :P...

Do any of you happen to have the 73mm full Arrow System on it?
Did you have to add a PCIII/new ecu or did it run ok without?

thanks
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

BTW, when are you going to let that DUC be heard?  It sounds nice as is, but imagine how much better it will sound with a system on it! [moto]  [evil]

I got the full Termi system on it, which comes with the ECU, CF guard, and filter.

You need the DP ECU if you want to do any tuning.  You can buy it separately for about $1000.

Without the new ECU the PCIII will only let you adjust the mixture in the closed loop part of the map which is not where it needs most of the work.

You can run the Arrow system with the DP ECU and forget the PCIII or you can add the PCIII to fine tune it a bit more.

If you do run a PCIII you can forget about using someone else's map.  You will need to spend the money on a dyno tune.  Most of the corrections that people make are in the low - mid rpm range, which are greatly affected by the trim and air bleed settings.  Since they will likely be different on your bike, the map will probably be off as well.

I would get the DP ECU, install the ECU and Arrow system myself, bring the bike to a good dealer with the bodywork removed, and pay them a few bucks to set the TPS, trim, and air bleeds.

ducatispot.com is a better choice.  Rhett, the owner / admin of 1098-forum is more fascist and evil than the VS goons.
