Besides the seat cowl, how much interest is there in a true solo seat for our monsters?  Does anyone make one besides the discontinued DP part?

I don't know of another option for solo seat besides the carbon fiber one:

What would your goal be? Just to have something that looks very different? Shed weight? Keep those pesky ladies from being able to ride with ya?

I've got a bike for passengers so the Monster is all mine. I'd be interested in a solo seat. I'm also going to look at Stew's Al sub when he get the price all figured out.

That Cafe hump is separate from the seat. That division doesn't look right to me. Something similar to the DP part yotogi posted but less than $1000, doesn't need to be carbon to be on my bike.

seems you could just use your stock seat and cut it down, put a hard plastic hump in the back.. plenty of old school mono bump seats on ebay

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

if that was one piece, covered the frame rails and the hup dident tilt over the seat so much, I would be allllllll over that.

when I get some money scraped together im planning on going to this amazing seat guy in washington to have something made up.

What a nice bike.  Did Stew create that???  How did he hide all the wires?  I like that "clean" look.

I might sell it, but I know I'd kick myself about 5 mins after I shipped it if I did.

Just like my CC rearsets... someone insisted that they would buy them, has told me they are sending money about 3 different times.  I still hav'em, but I'm glad I do Cheesy

Only thing that bugs me about the solo seat is the tail-light doesn't match up for shit with it.  That can be fixed, but I'll need to figure out which taillight has the same profile as the seat and go from there.

OR BETTER YET, the "FLEDA" system, for sport classics.
