Part 9 (it's mistakenly labeled as part 10 on youtube):

Mat Mladin- Inside with the Champ part 10

interesting commentary on cornerspeed and the use of the clutch.

True. I always thought it was simply his team outspending the competition, but last year showed he works his ass off to be the best. I'm not a big fan, but I give Mladin a LOT more props now than I used to.

I also found his analysis of rider position and wheel control very interesting. He's clearly spent a lot of time analyzing what the bike is doing and how he can influence it.

I love him and his arrogance is well earned, BUT, I still say he should've gone international 6 or 7 years ago just for a couple of seasons at least. History will always paint him as a shark in a goldfish bowl.

Woulda, shoulda, coulda.

The only comparisons we can make is when we take Spies and what he has done in SBK and hopefully will do in MotoGP. We can only deduce that Mladin might also have been excellent, but we will never know. I think his ego would not have allowed him even the remote chance to fail.

that, and the fact that ben says that racing mat was the hardest thing he's done.  more difficult than winning the wsbk title.

Again, we will never know. He will need to live vicariously through Ben. Yet again, I doubt he cares.

Matt is a little twitchy. I guess the way his brain is wired that sitting still is probably painful for him.
