The forks are powdercoated or painted? Looks great.

Not to difficult but takes a lot patience and helps with two sets of hands
I unlike in the tutorial above undid the bolts clamping each fork tube one at a time and rotated the tube as I applied the wrap
much easier than trying to get it tight spaces.

I swapped out my stock forks for S2R1000 adjustable forks, also got a stiffer spring in the rear, termis/ECU/open airbox, apex clip ons, KTM headlight with custom bracket, bar end mirrors, speedymoto frame slliders... I think that about wraps it up.

That KTM headlight is super cool.  I think it would look particularly sharp combined with the "diversion" front fender.  Have any head-on pics?

With those frame sliders, is anyone worried about worse physical damage in the event of a fall? Seems like they may lessen bike damage but could potentially cause more bodily harm if it were to fall on you or you on it???

Much more worried about the ground than my sliders. I had a 0MPH drop that resulted in a broken foot that would have been avoided had I had my sliders on at that time. Once the foot was healed, the sliders were the first mod.

The cooler definitley helps keep the temp down.  I posted the numbers after the initial rides a year or two ago.  From memory it was a drop of about 10%, plus the temp comes down more quickly if it's heated up a bit due to traffic/summer and you get rolling again.  The DP ecu also helped a lot to lower the temps.  Combine it all with a good full synthetic 10W40 oil and there are no worries.  I had my cams degreed + ecu trim adjusted recently and it runs a good bit hotter now (but still not over 200F).  I think the M695 really should have come from the factory with an oil cooler, but I suppose they wanted to keep costs down on the entry model.  I used the Ducati cooler retrofit kit with all the bits and pieces.

I love the full trellis frame.  I love the geometry of the bike.  How it rides.  How it begs to be abused.  Simple and loud.

i've been thinking about pulling the trigger on a pair of these rizoma mirrors, but they are so damn expensive. Do you have any pictures of these mirrors on the regular stock bars? How do you find viewing angle on them?
