I am currently using Michelin PP2CTs on my S2R8.  I would like to find a tire that lasts longer than 3000 miles and am willing to sacrifice some grip in exchange for more mileage.  Any suggestions?

Easy, Michelin PR2CT. I'm on my first set, so I can't really give you a gauge on mileage. But I'm loving them so far.

I'm using the old-skool PR (the non-2CT) version and I have 1000 miles on them with very little signs of wear.

I've found that for canyon riding the Pilot Roads provide plenty of grip.  I'm not out there dragging knee and Icon thinks I ride like a grandma after church but I haven't had any issues on them thus far.

I am on my third set of the Pilot Roads (2 sets of the PR's and currently the PR2CT's) on my S2R800 and will stay with them on the next set.  I got about 7500 miles on the first set and a little over 7 on the second.  I have right at 6000 on these dual compounds and will probably end up with a couple thousand more.  I have no issues with their traction whatsoever.  I would have to think their performance falls a good deal short of the Powers, but I don't need the extra stick and the added mileage = less money for tires and more money for other crap I don't need for my bike.  I would recommend them.

Continental Road Attack.

5000+ miles on the rear tire and by the looks of it I should get another couple of thousand miles out of it.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Thanks for the input folks!!

Looks like Pilot Road 2 is it.  My front should be about ready to replace when the current rear wears out, so I will be buying a set.

...expensive, but worth every penny.

Based on what I see of online pricing, they run about 20% more than the PP2CTs, but if they yield double the mileage, the exra cost is well worth it.
