Hey guys, I posted over in the "old forum" and was informed that all the cool kids hang out over here. I dont own a Monster as of yet, but i've got a bank check burning a hole in my pocket and my eye on one. Hopefully in the next week or so Ill have myself a Monster. Oh.. It will be my first motorcycle too. Im pretty much a car guy. Old Mopars is my main game but I can definitly get into the Monster scene. looking forward to it.

see you all around

you are all going to tell me i'm crazy for my first bike, but its an S2R1000. Ive ridden before, just plan on taking it REAL easy till i get used to it. Im just know myself and dont want to grow out of it in 6 mos. I'd consider an 800 as well if the price was right. I wont go to an S4R, that is just to much.

Glad you could make it!  Was I the one who PM'd you?  I've shot so many PMs over the last couple of weeks trying to get people to realize that the Monster community isn't as unwelcoming as some other forums make it seem.   Undecided

Go for it on the bike.  Just keep that throttle hand nice and easy, and you'll do just fine.

Not crazy at all...you will outgrow a smaller bike in a short amount of time...but the 800s are sweet!  I have an S4R, not tooooo much different!    [moto]
