What you possess in the world will be found at the day of your death to belong to someone else. But what you are will be yours forever.

Well, I just dropped mine off to the Transport company this morning, now all I have left is the Number/rego plate, some great memories and a shit load of Photo's!
It will start it's journey to it's new owner at the other end of the country.

Will I miss it? sure! Do I regret it? maybe a little, but with the plans the wife and I have, having the bike was just not convenient for us and our future plans of moving
Interstate, and starting a new life.

Now, I just have to keep an eye out for the next project!  [evil]

I sold my old one (01 M600) for a nice 00 M900 i'd only move from one to another [bow_down]

No way I'm selling it, I'm bequeathing it to one of my kids as well!

Once the miles get a little high, I'll buy a new ride and just tick the monster over until one of th kids sparks an interest!

monsta

yeah, mines a keeper as well.
I've had it for nearly 15 yrs, done big trips on it as well as flogged it around the track.
A lot of bourban has been drunk planning the next mod or just gazing at it lovingly and procrastinating, and I've probably spent as much money on it as raising one of my kids!  ;D

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

I like both my bikes, but I could see me selling them to move on to another project.

I would be murdered if I did  8)

Only one person can kill you, so we would simply take turns hurting you really really badly.

I told myself I would never think of selling it.  I'd just get another and always keep my first monster.  I am now on 2 months of unemployment with money getting tighter daily.  I am seriously considering it now.  Once I get it back from the dealer (getting the plastic tank replaced) I might just do it.

Yes - the last time I checked it was just a bike.

yeah, it's just a bike, but unless my children's well-being is threatened, it'll be hard.

I actually just picked up a new Hypermotard and had an offer for $4500 on the bike, but circumstances -- me dragging my feet and the local dealer taking their time with the rejet, conspired to let the opportunity pass, thouh I don't really regret it.  There's a lot of similarity in the functionality of the HM and the Monster, but unless the right person comes, I'm holding on to it.
