So Latus went out and bought a Ducati 848, signed up Steve Rapp, and the team will go racing again this year in the AMA Daytona SportBike class.

A dickhead in what way? Yeah, he may have run 199 mph at Daytona last year but everyone caught up over the season and it wasn't like he won most of the races. Dickhead! WTF?

I was hoping mladin would retire and we wouldn't have to listen to his bullshit any more.
Oh well.

I think its the other way around now. Since he's retired, he has nothing to do other than spout off bullshit the entire year.

The press loves him, they'll print anything he says. He loves to say controversial stuff and the press loves to print it. He could give bad weather forecasts and it would still make Superbikeplanet or Cycle News. I'm not a Mladin hater by any means, I just liked him more when he was on a bike and the green flag dropped rather than him yaking to reporters in the pits. I will side with him about DMG though.

you make him sound like the perfect person for FOX motorcycle racing broadcasts.

except (other than twitter maybe) he really only gives an opinion when asked. and i don't think he says anything to be controversial; he just says what he thinks. mat's world is evidently very black and white.
in other words, the opposite of a fox broadcaster.
