Seat's had it

One rip a few months ago and another in the past week.   :-\

I wonder how many on/offs it's had in 7 years?

Nearly 73,000 miles.  Looks like it's time for a new saddle.

Hmmm..maybe a DP gel seat?

Anyone just have their seat refurbished?

Hey IZ, didnt you move back to AZ?  If so, a gel seat is a Baaaaaaaad idea.  When I lived in NM, the sun got that gel so friggen hot it melted my man peaches everytime i rode the bike.

the new comfort seat from DP is a new mfr and doesnt look to have the gel padding in it like the previous version.
looks like the 696 seat with the suede-looking covering on it.


clark in our shop changed to the new seat to see if he can park it outside all day at work without cooking his eggs on the ride home  8)

I have a gel seat and it's seen some hot days (not Az, but high 90s). I got a bikini cover that does a great job. It seems to only need the shade to keep the gel cool and it is very comfy. w/o the cover it cooks the bacon.
