So I have lusted for the 916 Senna (1,2 or 3 version) for years.

Where would you look to find one for sale?  Its not the type of bike that shows up on Ebay.

anyone know?

There's been one floating around here for sale for the last year or so.  Actually, maybe it's a 996?  Lemme poke around.

Edit:  Damn, can't seem to find it in the usual local spots.  Sorry, mang.

I wonder if you called a premier dealer they might be in the know with clients who collect and revolve their bikes.  If it were me looking for one I'd call Beverly Hills Ducati and talk to Casey.

I think I actually saw an LA Craiglist post for one a few months ago, I'll look again.

Let us know if you bid on it, so we can bid it up to spite you, for no good reason.

I hate you all.   May you fat three doses of the clap and recover from all but the second.

Same issue with looking for a used DB series Bimota. they just don't show up on eBay or Craigslist.

You could always call Jim Davis at Nichols Sportbike Service http://motorcycle.nicholsmfg.com/ to see if he knows of any.  He seems to be aware of most of the more interesting Ducatis in the San Franicsco Bay Area.  He's already mentioned to me that if I ever want to sell my 888, there are several people he knows who would be interested.

AZSBK in Chandler always had one on the floor the last few years.  I've not been there lately, so I don't know if it is still there.

It looked really clean and I believe the mileage was quite low.

It did have a ridiculous high price on it, however.

Above DB4 is pretty nice! (does it come with "accessories"?)  waytogo

If you are seriously looking, there are a couple of DB2 and DB4 Bimota available.  Not cheap.  But very nice.  Just be cognizant that spare parts are a bit of a challenge at times to find.
